Dear Friends,

I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and hopeful. My family is well and Natalie and I are staying home at our house in Sisters, Oregon.

I'm having trouble finding words at this moment. Music feels right, and I'm grateful for that.

I'll be sharing music online in the coming weeks, diving into the uncharted waters of internet music, come hang and sing along from the safety of your home.
Live Performances Wednesdays in April. RSVP here for weekly reminders.

*April tour dates are cancelled.
*May tour dates TBD.

Patreon

On April 5th when the Patreon deposit came in showing the support of 74 people, it felt pretty huge, both for the grocery bill and knowing that sitting down every morning to my desk and my guitar is not just for me.

Patreon is a platform that allows you to directly support creative endeavors that you find meaningful. Basically, it's a voluntary monthly subscription that you choose to pay because you believe in the artist and want to keep this musical spaceship orbiting. Any amount you contribute each month helps me get my music out there. And you get perks, like for $3 a month you receive a new song demo in your inbox every month! Check them out on my Patreon page.

Fox Recommends

A playlist of my favorite John Prine songs. Thank you John for all your gifts of truth, kindness, poignancy, and laughter. You are a hero and you are missed.

"St. Joan" by R.O. Shaprio. RO. Shapiro, aka Raph my old band mate and buddy, put out a single this month, and it's beautiful. Listen wherever you get your music.

The Overstory by Richard Powers. Stunningly written, trees and people twisting in and out of fantasy in a sweeping fable I couldn't put down. Shout out to Steve Welch for recommending the book.

Ray Hudson interview on the "Men in Blazers" podcast. Ray Hudson is the greatest ever football (soccer) announcer (in my humble opinion). He's English, and hearing him talk in these times was everything to me. ***If you want a taste of Ray's announcing glory watch this video clip of a Messi golaso.
