Bikes
Thanks to the help of some second-to-none New England friends, I got to test drive a long standing bike tour dream; four days in the saddle with a guitar, shirts, CDs, and a change of clothes in my cargo bike’s saddle bags. Three states and 150 miles. It was even more awesome than I imagined. People smile at you on a bike. I smile when I get to commute to shows at a human pace with no gas involved. Sharing music at night after a joyful day of wind, world, heart beats, and smiles makes a whole lot of sense. The gears are turning toward a mostly pedal powered future. To quote my mom, “Everything is more fun on a bike."
